Regenerative Farming

I think this regenerative way of farming is very important, because often animals are not treated right. In factory farming, for example, 4 million hens lay 2.7 million eggs a day and they sit close together in a much to small cage. At the Farm from Angus, the animals are treated much better. Every animal can move free. Another notable fact is that the animals are not fed antibiotics. Angus was showing us a feeding trough filled with different minerals. He explained to us that the cows can choose what they need. That’s why they don’t need antibiotics. In addition, the herd is moved twice a day. So the soil can regenerate and the pasture don’t get overgrazed.

It’s all about protecting the precious soil, because fertile soil is the basis of life.
